Empower Field at Mile High

Empower Field at Mile High is 1.7 million square feet, has 7 locker rooms and seats over 77,000. It was designed and built by Turner/Empire/Alvarado Construction and HNTB Architects in association with Fentress Bradburn Architects and Bertram A. Bruton Architects. Construction was completed in the summer of 2001 and the Denver Broncos played their first game in the stadium. Empower Field received a $30 million renovation during the 2013 offseason that increased the size of its scoreboard by three times while enhancing all stadium audio/visual elements, suites, and concourses. The stadium has the ninth-largest scoreboard in the NFL, and it has a concave design to accommodate the existing structure of the frame. The field is 100% natural Kentucky Bluegrass.

The tour of Empower Field at Mile High will be accompanied by engineers to speak about the building in more detail (electrical, turf, AV/IT and the $100 million upgrade currently underway).
